The Vox is a New Orleans independent and music culture zine published quarterly. We’re pleased to announce that our fall issue will be released on October 21.  We are currently accepting submissions from local artists, writers, musicians, soothsayers, producers, disk-jockeys, visionaries, filmmakers, activists and so on. You wrote a review about the Explosions in the Sky + Wye Oak show? SUBMIT IT! You just drew the most grotesque looking hippo? SUBMIT IT!! You just finished a short film about a POC trans-man from the Marigny? LET’S SEE IT! You just bought the newest Mastadon album? SUBMIT YOUR REVIEW! You just made an animated gif of Steve Jobs ascending into heaven? SUBMIT! You wrote a piece about Occupy NOLA? LET’S READ IT! Just finished recording your first shot at a song from the long-lost genre of exotica? WE WANNA HEAR IT! Deadline for submission for the fall publication is October 15th (but we always accept submissions!).
